Andy Mitchell joined Bangor City from Chester City on Transfer Deadline Day on 2nd February 2009. The winger made four appearances in The Football League for Chester, before his release from the Deva Stadium.
He was a product of Chester's youth policy, and as a 17-year old, he made his Football League debut as a substitute at Darlington in March 2008, under new manager and former Citizen Simon Davies. He went on to appear in three more league matches before the season ended.
He failed to make any more league appearances for the club Mark Wright released him, before he was transferred to Bangor.
