Micky Evans
The experienced Mickey Evans returned to Caersws as Manager in July 2009, just over two years after leaving the club.
The 62-year-old had enjoyed a 24-year association with the mid-Wales club and masterminded the Bluebirds' climb through the pyramid before deciding to step down in June 2007. He was then replaced by Mike Barton, who was in turn replaced by Dave Taylor, but since Evans' departure from the Recreation Ground, the village-club have finished seventeenth on both occasions and only escaped relegation as there has not been an eligible promotion candidate from the Welsh League.
During his first, very long spell at the club, Evans was hugely popular at his hometown side and his return will be the boost that all involved with the Bluebirds were hoping for. He has been charged with bringing some success back to the club who he inspired to the League Cup three times and led them into Europe previously, but the Bluebirds will just be hoping for a Top Twelve finish from Evans and hopefully a place in the re-structured top-flight for 2010/11. Evans named previous Manager Dave Taylor as his assistant.
